Obituary - W.C. Bill Jackson

Mr. W. C. “Bill" Jackson 69, of Butler,Texas passed away on September 26, 2002.  
Born March 24, 1933 in Wooster, TX. Jackson was a resident in the Butler area
for 10 years. Bill retired from the Baytown Police Department where he was a
Lieutenant for 25 years. He was a member of the N.R.A., and graduated from the
115th FBI Academy in 1976 in Quantico, VA. He also served in the U.S.Army. He
was a long time member of Wooster Baptist Church, in Wooster, Tx.  

Bill is survived by his loving wife Velma Jackson, and son Scott Jackson, of
Butler; and brother, James Jackson of Baytown. 

He is preceded in death by his son James William Jackson, parents Charlie &
Kathleen Pruet Jackson, and sister Charleen Adams. 

The family will receive friends today September 29, 2002 from 6:00-8:00p.m. at
Capps Memorial Chapel.  

Funeral Services will be Monday, September 30, 2002, at 11:00 a.m. at Capps
Memorial Chapel. with Rev. Don Suits II officiating. Burial will follow at Lake
Chapel Cemetery in Fairfield.  

Pallbearers are Dewayne Milligan, Don Milligan, Dr. Bruce Kennedy, Bill
Goodman, Lee Lavargene, and Jim Niven. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Capps Memorial Chapel.
