Lawrence Albert Jackson

Lawrence Albert Jackson, 86, of Fairfield, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, 
October 13, 2011 in Tyler. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. 
Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011 in the activity room of Fairfield Nursing & Rehab at 
420 Moody St. in Fairfield. Elder Elnora Nunnally, Pastor of Jones Chapel United 
Methodist Church will officiate.

Mr. Jackson was born on May 1, 1925 in Freestone County to parents, Miles and 
Mary Talley Jackson. He was a lifetime area resident and a former City of 
Fairfield employee. His first church affiliation was with Rhode Island United 
Methodist Church and later with Jones Chapel U.M.C. when they merged. He 
reaffirmed his membership at Jones Chapel in January 2009. In addition to his 
parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Grayson; two brothers, Jim 
and Joel Talley; a granddaughter, Gwendolyn D. Jackson.

Left to cherish his memory are two daughters, Martha Ruth Jackson of Fairfield 
Nursing & Rehab and Katie Ruth Moseley of Austin; grandchildren, Michael Jackson; 
Donna Gamble; Kristie Moseley; Christopher Moseley; great-grandchildren, Daelon 
McKay; Antonece Carathers; Domanique McKay; Christopher A. Moseley, Jr.; Carbre 
Moseley; Christian Moseley; Cameron Moseley.
