Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 19, 2006, at 2 p.m. in the Smith Chapel Primitive Baptist Church on MLK Blvd in Wortham. The Rev. Howard McLean, pastor, will be the eulogist and the Rev. Lewis Brown will officiate. The body will lie in state from 1 p.m. until the service begins at 2 p.m. Interment will be in the Wortham Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Friday, August 18, 2006, at 10 a.m. in the funeral home, and the family will be present from 7 until 8 p.m. Ms. Jackson is survived by her sons: Michael Betts of Mexia, Keith Betts of Wortham and Jheryl Betts of Mexia; her sister, Janette Maxwell of Dallas; her 5 grandchildren - Caleb, Tre’, Briana, Kaelyn and Taelor; her aunt, Pearlie B. Rocquemore of Henderson, Nevada; a niece, Daniell Jefferson of Mexia; a nephew, Aaron Maxwell of Dallas, a special friend, Rosie Jones of Wortham, and a host of other relatives and friends.
