Freestone County, Texas Obituary Fairfield Recorder - November 02, 2006 Lee Jahn Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 25 in Fairfield for Lee Jahn, 86, of Fairfield who died Monday Oct 23 in Fairfield. Mr. Jahn was born November 7, 1919 in Fairbanks, Texas. He served in the U.S. Nav during World War II, was retired from the telephone company and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. Services were conducted at 10 a.m. at Capps Memorial Chapel, with Bro. Bo Davis officiating. Burial was at Fairfield Cemetery. Pallbearers were Purvis Black, Brian Eubanks, Jason Jahn, Donnie McCaleb, Dillan Burgess and Ray Sanders. Mr. Jahn is survived by a son, William "Bill" Jahn and wife Ginny of the Woodlands; two daughters, Candece Odom of Alvarado and Jennifer Lopez and husband Ricky of Fairfield; a brother, Frank E. Howard and wife Bettye of Streetman; a sister, Jo Ann Borensheuere of Bellaire; nine grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jules and Mureil (Deacon) Jahn; a daughter, Sandra Richardson; and a granddaughter, Kia Richardson.
