Mr. Carter James
  Carter James, 42, of Streetman, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2014 in Streetman.  
Memorial services were held Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Woodland Cemetery in Kirvin.  
  Carter was born August 8, 1971 in Jacksonville, Texas to parents Robert Wesley 
and Thelma Walthall James.  
  He had been a Freestone County resident most of his life and was employed as 
an oil field roughneck and enjoyed hunting.
  Left to cherish his memory is his father, Robert Wesley James of Jacksonville; 
step-mother, Jeanne James of Jacksonville; two children, Haley and Leigha James 
both of Teague; a brother, Mark James of Jacksonville; a sister, Allison Stephens 
of Rusk; two nephews Chris West of Afghanistan; T. J. West of Tyler; and very 
special friends, Charles and Tonia Sikes of Streetman.
