CORNIE V. PIERCE JAMESON
   
Cornie  V.  Pierce Jameson passed from this life on Thursday, Feb. 13, 1997, at
the age of 80.
   
She was born Oct. 6, 1916, in Freestone County, Texas, to Lilbon Robert Pierce
and Marger Emily Pierce.
   
She  married  Fred Jameson July 3, 1940, in Midland, Texas. They lived and
ranched  near  Silver,  Texas,  until they moved southwest of San Angelo  in
1958, where they lived and ranched until his death in 1982. She moved to San
Angelo in 1988, and resided there until her death.
   
Cornie  is  survived  by Larry and Barbara Jameson of Silver, and Glyn
Jameson and his fiance, Nita Raley, of San Angelo; four grandchildren, Jonathan
and  Misty Jameson of San Antonio, Tiffany and Jeff Smith of Lubbock,  Jarod
Jameson  of  Austin and Brent Jameson of Abilene; one sister and
brother-in-law, Adell and Jay Thompson of Loraine; and many nieces and nephews,
as well as a host of friends.
   
Graveside   service   will   be  at  2  p.m.  Saturday,  Feb.  15, in
McKenzieville Cemetery in Silver with Calvin Warpula of Johnson Street Church
of  Christ  officiating. Family will be at Southside Church of Christ in Robert
Lee prior to the service.
