Helen Jenkins

Memorial services for Mrs. Helen Jenkins, former longtime Wortham resident,
were scheduled for this afternoon in Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home Chapel at
Corsicana. Burial will be in Arkansas, where her husband, Claude Jenkins, is
buried.

Mrs. Jenkins and her husband owned and operated the Jenkins Grocery Store at
Wortham, for many years. They had also been active members in Wortham First
Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Sandy and Kay Jenkins of
Corsicana, and by a granddaughter, Allison Jenkins of Martha's Vineyard,
Massachusetts.
