FORT WORTH - Till "Chouch" Jessie, a retired auto detailer, died Aug. 29 at a
Fort Worth hospital. He was 72.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Faith Hope Missionary Baptist Church. 
Burial will be at Road Island Cemetery in Streetman.

Russell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Jessie was born in Freestone County and had lived in Fort Worth about 50 
years. He was employed with Yates Used Cars for 30 years before retiring in 
1987.

Survivors: Son, James Jessie of Fort Worth; daughter, Mary Jo Carroll of 
Dallas; seven brothers, E.J. Jessie, Willie Jessie and Riley Jessie, all of 
California, Cornell Jessie, Tom Jessie Jr. and Albert Jessie, all of Fort 
Worth, and McKinely Jessie of Houston; three sisters, Tommie Lucky of Phoenix,
Ariz., Lillie Faye Ealy of Fort Worth and Rose Ann Anderson of Corsicana; and
one grandson.
