Charlie Dancer Jimmison

Services for Charlie Dancer Jimmison, 90, of Bryan are set for 2 p.m. Friday at
Greater Tabernacle Baptist Church in Bryan.

The Rev. D.N. Jones of Greater Tabernacle Baptist Church will officiate. Burial
will be in Oakwood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Jones-Washington Mortuary
in Bryan.

Mr. Jimmison died Monday at his home.

He was born in Teague and had lived in Bryan for 25 years. He was retired from
Alcoa and was a member of Greater Tabernacle Baptist Church, where he sang in
the choir.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna M. Jimmison.

Survivors include a stepdaughter, Pearline McDaniel of Lubbock; three sisters,
Alice Holt and Carrie Haynes, both of Streetman, and Ethel Griffin of
Corsicana; a godson; and numerous nephews and nieces.
