Funeral services for Mr. Oscar Johnson were held Monday, November 5, 2007 at
3:00 p.m. at the Dew Methodist Church. Interment followed the service at the 
Dew Cemetery. Rev. Kevin Gilmore officiated. Mr. Johnson passed away November 
2, 2007 in Teague, Texas. He was born January 14, 1937 in Dew where he 
attended school and graduated from Teague High School in 1955. He graduated 
from Navarro College, farmed and was a rancher most of his life. He worked in
Real Estate for several years. Mr. Johnson was a member of the Dew Methodist 
Church all of his life. He is survived by his daughter, Vicki Brown & husband 
Jimmy, grandson, J.T. Brown & granddaughter, Cooper Brown, brother, David 
Johnson & wife Sharon all of Teague, sister, Brenda Johnson of Dew and several
nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Smith & Willie Mae 
Johnson and one brother, Bill Allen Johnson.
