Joyce (Dabney) Johnson

Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Johnson, 73, of Mexia, will be Thursday morning
at 10 o'clock in Porter Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be the Reverends
Jack Dabney and Ronnie Dabney. Burial will be in Wortham Cemetery. Family
members will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Johnson, born at Dawson on Feb. 2, 1932, died Sunday, July 31, 2005, in
Hillcrest Hospital-Waco.

Family visitation is scheduled for this evening from 6 until 8 o'clock at the
funeral home.

Surviving are her husband, Richard Johnson of Mexia; four daughters - Alma
Joyce Collett of San Antonio, Marilyn Heister, Betty Ann Reeves and Angie
Anderson, all of Waco; a son, Shaun Johnson of Mexia; grandchildren - Carmen,
Shanna, Jason, Kelley, Rachel, Justin, Amanda, Michael, Angel, Taylor and
Riley; great-grandchildren - Courtnee, Mikie and Rudy; three sisters - Georgia
Carroll and Betty Funderburk, both of Mexia, and Helen Worthy of San Antonio;
four brothers - Jack Dabney of Italy, Texas, Gene Dabney of Houston, Oak Dabney
of Waco and Norris Dabney of Mexia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
