Helen Sanders Elliott Johnson of Teague died Tuesday, May 9, 2006, in Tyler.
She was born March 28, 1924, to Earl and Jennie Sanders of Hubbard. She was a
Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Peggy Elliott Carrier; and grandson,
Matthew Lane.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, R.J. and Shirley Hill, Duke
Elliott, and Dan and Tammy Elliott; daughter and son-in-law, Anita and Jerry
Lane; 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by
her loving partner, Everett “Heavy” West.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home in
Teague.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Resthaven Memorial Park in
Corsicana with Dan Elliott officiating.
