Lillie Mae (Hall) Jones

Funeral services are set for Saturday in Oakwood for Lillie Mae Jones, 81, of 
Oakwood who died Thursday, August 17 in DeSoto.

Mrs. Jones was born February 18, 1925 in Oakwood to Lee Hall and Mattie Downie. 
She was a Baptist.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Oakwood, 
with Rev. Walter Johnson officiating.  Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery.

Visitation is scheduled for 7-8 p.m. Thursday at New Lancaster Community 
Baptist Church in Lancaster.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughters, Hazel Banks of DeSoto, Wanda Bailey of
Lancaster, Betty Woodard of Red Oak, Patricia Ann Jones of Red Oak and Lisa 
Hill of Irving;  Five sons, Preston Jones, Warren Jones, Larry Jones and Leslie 
Jones, all of Oakwood; and Ernest Jones of Denton; six sisters, Laura Glover, 
Nettie Glover, Esther Johnson, Weader Ann Sheffield, Opal Hodge and Debbie 
Traylor; Three brothers, James Hall, Billy Hall and Wesley Hall; 11 
grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were made by Peoples Funeral Home in Denton.
