Napoleon Maurice Jones

Funeral services will be held Saturday in Oakwood for Napoleon Maurice Jones,
76, of Oakwood who died Friday, April 20 at Teague Nursing Home.

Mr. Jones was born January 9, 1931 in Freestone county. He was a mechanic's 
helper for the TXU power plant, and a member of Brown Chapel African Methodist
Episcopal Church in Oakwood.

He served in the U.S. Army.
Services are set for 1 p.m. at Brown Chapel A.M.E., with Rev. Joey Baggett 
and Rev. W.K. McDonald officiating.

Burial will be at Brown Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers are Darrell Lincoln, 
Melton Jones, Grayhlon Jones, Darrian Harris and Christopher Lee.

Mr. Jones is survived by his children, Darvin Jones of Rosharon, Dwain
Jones and wife Margaret Nell of Teague, Deborah Robinson and husband Joseph
of Henderson, Nevada and Dianne Lee of Los Angeles; Brothers Frank Jones of
Oakwood, Hure Lee Jones and wife Doris Jean of Oakwood, Kenchion Jones Jr. and
wife Renee of Houston, Alvin Jones and wife Mary of Fort Worth and Eugene Jones
and wife Jerie of Gulfport, Mississippi; Sisters Gedalma Malone and husband 
James of Houston, Celeso Lincoln and husband Leroy of Houston, Texas, Wilelmer
Washington of Oakwood and Darlene Wyatt of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 
Grandchildren Demetria, Donte, Undrae and wife Michelle; Darrian, Christopher,
Cheyenne, Cherokee, Derrick and Davin, Jr.; great-grandchildren Gerisha, Darion
Jr., Jacoyius and Michelle; An aunt, Camilla Jackson of Los Angeles, California;
and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Arrangements were made by Moore's Angelic Funeral Home in Teague.

Napoleon Maurice Jones

Napoleon Maurice Jones, who died Friday, April 20, 2007, in Teague Nursing Home,
was born in Freestone County on January 9, 1931. He formerly lived in Oakwood 
and had been a mechanic helper for the TXU Power Plant.

A member of Brown Chapel African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church of Oakwood, 
Mr. Jones served in the U.S. Army, from which he was honorably discharged.

Funeral services will be Saturday afternoon, April 28, 2007, at 1 o’clock in 
Brown Chapel AME Church, FM 489, Oakwood. Officiating will be the Rev. Joey 
Baggett, pastor, and the Rev. W.K. McDonald. Interment will be in Brown Chapel
Cemetery at Oakwood, under direction of Moore’s Angelic Funeral Home of Teague.

Pallbearers are Darrell Lincoln, Melton Jones, Myron Jones, Graylon Jones, 
Darrian Harris and Christopher Lee.

Surviving are his children - Darvin Jones of Rosharon, Dwain Jones and wife 
Margaret Nell of Teague, Deborah Robinson and husband Joseph of Henderson,
