Freestone County, Texas Obituaries The Fairfield Recorder April 2007 Napoleon Maurice Jones Funeral services will be held Saturday in Oakwood for Napoleon Maurice Jones, 76, of Oakwood who died Friday, April 20 at Teague Nursing Home. Mr. Jones was born January 9, 1931 in Freestone county. He was a mechanic's helper for the TXU power plant, and a member of Brown Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Oakwood. He served in the U.S. Army. Services are set for 1 p.m. at Brown Chapel A.M.E., with Rev. Joey Baggett and Rev. W.K. McDonald officiating. Burial will be at Brown Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers are Darrell Lincoln, Melton Jones, Grayhlon Jones, Darrian Harris and Christopher Lee.
