A wake service was held June 8 from 7-8 p.m. at St. James United Methodist Church in Teague. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. at Asia-Antioch Primitive Baptist Church in Teague, with Rev. Cleo High officiating and Rev. Joshua Fields as eulogist. Burial was at Antioch Cemetery in Teague. Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Ronald K. Jones of Teague; daughters Sherika S.J. West and husband Willie of Teague; Toki Y. Jones and husband Chris of Teague; and Kellie R. Jones of Teague; Her mother, Annie Carter of Teague; sisters Joyce Busby Jacobs of Houston, Christine King and husband Charlie of Mexia, and Gwen Nunn of Teague; brother John Edward Carter and wife Katie of Teague; grandchildren Erica Shaunte Nelms and Kei'Niya Ciera Thornton; and a host of aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.
