Rutha Mae (Fantroy) Jones

Funeral services were held Saturday for Rutha Mae Fantroy Jones, 87, who died 
Sunday, May 17, at Fairfield Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

Mrs. Jones was born in Fairfield's Post Oak Community on Feb. 22, 1922.

A lifetime resident of Fairfield, Mrs. Jones worked as a housekeeper in the 
community.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 23, at Fairfield's #1 Church of 
God In Christ with pastor Elder Reeves officiating.

The eulogy was given by Mrs. Jones' son, Addison Canady with interment following 
at Fairfield Methodist Cemetery.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her stepson, Rev. Addison Canady of Arlington; 
grandsons, Addison Raymon of Houston, Andrew Canady of Dallas and Tony Canady of 
Arlington.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bunk" Jones, Jr.; parents; 
six sisters; and two brothers.

Funeral arrangements were made under the direction of Moore's Angelic Funeral 
Home in Teague.
