Eleanor Love Jones	
 
  The Angelic Hosts came for Mrs. Eleanor Love Jones, “Sister Ross,” on Tuesday, 
June 11, 2013 in the Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas.  Viewing was held Friday, 
June 14, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.  The family did 
not plan a Wake Service or Visitation.  Funeral Services were held Saturday, 
June 15, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Titus Chapel United Methodist Church, 301 FM 
1365, Teague, Texas.  Viewing was held from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM when the 
service began.  Interment followed in Grayson Chapel Cemetery, 235 FM 1365, 
Teague.  
  Eleanor “ Sister” Ross was the second child of Emery and Areatha Ross. She was 
born on April 1, 1932 in Freestone County, Texas. She grew up in the Furney 
Richardson Community and attended the public schools there.
  She was preceded in death by: her mother, Areatha Ross; a brother, Royell Ross; 
and two Grandsons, Marcus Love and Zachary Love.
  She will leave to cherish her memories: her father, Emery Ross of Teague, Tx; 
three sons, Edward (Kathy) Love of Cedar Hill, Tx, Aaron (Carla) Love of Dallas, 
Tx and John Wayne Love of Teague, Tx; four daughters, Carroll Ann Love of Denver, 
Co, Benell Reed of Westminster, Ca, Priscilla Tatum of Ft Worth, Tx, and Charlene 
Love McDonald of Teague, Tx; three brothers, Robert Earl (Rose) Ross of Fairfield, 
Tx, William (Lorriane) Ross of Dallas, Tx, and Scip (Alice) Ross of Ceder Hill, 
Tx; two sisters, Patricia Bostic and Barbara Heggins both of Teague, Tx, Twenty 
One Grandchildren; Seventeen Great-Grandchildren; a special friend and loving 
cousin, Juanice Sanford and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family.
  Active Pallbearers:  Cedric Love, Devion Love, John Ferguson, Kendal Love, 
Rodrick Vann, Michael Bostic, Ricky McDonald, Daniel Sandles III, Brandon Tatum 
and Antonio Heggins.
  Honorary Pallbearers:  Robert Earl Ross, Scip Ross, McKenzie Jackson, Rufus 
Jackson, William Ross, Johnny Howard and Charlie Baker.
