Nola Faye (Taylor) Jones

Nola Faye Jones, 65, of Fairfield passed away Sunday, Sept. 23, 2001 at East
Texas Medical Center in Fairfield.

Wake services will be 7 p.m. Friday at Sixth Avenue Baptist Church in
Corsicana.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Faith, Hope, Love Church in
Fairfield, with Bishop Russell Betts officiating. Interment will follow at
Woodland Cemetery in Corsicana.

Pallbearers will be Andrew Griffin, Greg Gibson, David Evans, Scott Storey,
Keith Randle, Willie McElroy, Brandon McDowell and Daryl Betts. Honorary
pallbearers will be Lon Hayter, Larry Van Buren, Cleo Betts, Joe Williams,
Swanson McIlveen and James House.

Mrs. Jones was born May 8, 1936 in Winona. She was a 1955 graduate of G. W.
Jackson High School and graduated from Texas College in 1959 with a major in
social studies and a minor in English. She received her special education
certification from Texas A&I College of Kingsville, and also attended Baylor
University in Waco. She taught in the Groesbeck, Corpus Christi, Corsicana, and
Mildred school districts, and the Boyd Unit of TDC.
