RICHARD JAMES JOURNELL


Graveside services for Richard James Journell, 87, of Fairfield, Texas, were
held on Friday, June 30, 2007, at Dallas – Fort Worth National Cemetery. 
Chaplin Art Ingalls conducted the service.

Mr. Journell was born on November 24, 1920, in Quincy, Ohio, to Carl and Helen 
Journell. He passed away on Monday, June 25, 2007.

Mr. Journell is survived by his daughters Yvonne Davis and husband Mike of 
Erkland, Oregon and Barbara Armistead and husband Dennis of Streetman, Texas,
his son Richard Journell and wife Ruth of Waskom, Texas, his sister Helen Kash 
of Longview, Texas, his grandchildren Richard Davis, Tracy Schmidt, Tony Kell,
Joel Kell, Richard Journell, Christy McCord, Jeormie Journell, Tory Journell 
and ten great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Lavon E. Reed Journell.

Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield was in charge of the arrangements.

Graveside services were held Friday, June 29 for Richard James Journell, 87, of 
Fairfield who died Monday, June 25.

Mr. Journell was buried at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, with Chaplain 
Art Ingalls officiating.

Mr. Journell is survived by his daughters, Yvonne Davis and husband Mike of 
Erkland, Oregon and Barbara Armistead and husband Dennis of Streetman; a son,
Richard Journell and wife Ruth of Waskom, Texas; One sister, Helen Kash of 
Longview; grandchildren Richard Davis, Tracy Schmidt, Tony Kell, Joel Kell, 
Richard Journell, Christy McCord, Jeromie Journell and Tory Journell; and 10 
great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lavin E. (Reed) Journell; and his parents,
Carl and Helen Journell.

Arrangements were made by Capps Memorial Chapel in Fairfield.
