"Stewards Mills Sounds The many friends and relatives of Mr. James Robinson through our section were shocked to hear of his sudden death on the 16th inst." =================================================================== Associate Reformed Presbyterian - June 14, 1888 Died at his home in Freestone County, Texas, April 16th, 1888, Mr. James Robinson, about 82 years old....was born in Abbeville County, S. C. In early life he united with the church of his fathers. In 1831, in the full vigor of manhood, he came to Alabama. In 1837, he and sister Eliza Ann Bonner [Rev. T. J. Bonner wrote the sketch] were married; in 1853 he moved to Texas. When Richland church was organized, he was one of the first to enroll his name.... leaves a wife, four sons and four daughters.
