Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Fairfield Recorder June 23, 2007 issue Hubert Loyd Kear, Jr. Funeral services are scheduled Wednesday, June 20 at Driver Cemetery for Hubert Loyd Kear, Jr., 71, who died Sunday, June 17 in Fairfield. Mr. Kear was born June 5, 1936 in Whiteboro, Grayson County, Texas to Hubert Lee and Vernie Merle Kear. He married Dorothy Bishop on November 22, 1957 in Gainesville. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; seven children, Cinthia Diann, Garry Loyd, Larry Floyd, Tommy Dale, Michael Ray, Tammarah Suzette Green and Margaret Ellen Kear; Two brothers, James Kear of Nashville, Tennessee and Carl Kear of Old Hickory, Tennessee; two sisters, Bobbie Goodman of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee and Lois Moseley of Lebanon, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jimmy Lee and John Henry; and three grandchildren. ======================================================================= The Teague Chronicle June 28th, 2007 edition HUBERT KEAR Mr. Hubert Kear, Jr., of Fairfield, Texas, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2007. He was 71 years old. Mr. Kear was born on June 5, 1936, in Grayson County, Texas, to Hubert and Vernie Kear. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. A graveside funeral service was held for Mr. Kear on Wednesday, June 20, 2007, at Driver Cemetery in Freestone County. Rev. Jim Lamb officiated. Mr. Kear is survived by his wife Dorothy Kear of Fairfield, his daughters Cynthia Kear and Margaret Kear both of Fairfield and Tammarah Green of Fulton, Missouri, his sons Garry Kear, Larry Kear and Michael Kear all of Fairfield, and Tommy Kear of Drare, North Dakota, his brothers James Kear of Nashville, Tennessee, Carl Kear of Old Hickey, Tennessee, his sisters Bobbie Goodman of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Lois Moseley, of Lebanon, Tennessee, ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Johnny Kear and Jimmy Lee Kear. Pallbearers for Mr. Kear were Darren Bishop, Dilbert Bishop, Daniel Billings, Larry Kear, Jr., Jayson Kear and Jeremy Kear. Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield was in charge of the arrangements.
