Freestone County, Texas Obituaries The Fairfield Recorder Margaret Ellen Kear Graveside services were held this week for Margaret Ellen Kear, 32, of Fairfield who died Friday, May 30. Ms. Kear was born in Corsicana on June 27, 1975, to Herbert and Dorothy Kear. She graduated from Fairfield high school in 1994 and earned her associates degree in writing from the Institute of Children’s Literature. Ms. Kear was a published poet who enjoyed writing poetry and short stories. Services were conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Driver Cemetery with Rev. Gilford Vaughn officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Steven Rogers, Jayson Kear, Jeremy Kear and Larry Kear, Jr. Ms. Kear is survived by her mother Dorothy Kear; sisters Cinthya Kear of Fairfield and Tammarah Green of Fulton, Missouri; and brothers Garry Kear of Mexia, Larry Kear of Teague, Tommy Kear of Gillette, Wyoming and Michael Kear of Fairfield. She is preceded in death by her father Hubert Kear, Jr.; and grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Kear, Sr. and Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Bishop.
