Mexia Daily News - Jan. 12, 2005 edition Clyde Kelley Funeral services for Clyde Kelley, 96, of Fort Worth, and formerly of Fairfield, will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock in Jones Chapel United Methodist Church-Fairfield. Officiating will be the pastor, the Rev. Darrell Houston. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery (Freestone County), under direction of Moore's Angelic Funeral Home of Teague. Friends and family members will serve as pallbearers. A former resident of California, Mr. Kelley had been a Barber for over 10 years, also worked as an Electrician, and was a retired employee of the Weapons Naval Station at Long Beach, California. He was a member of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church, and died Monday in Harris Methodist Hospital of Fort Worth. Mr. Kelley was born in Boyenton, Oklahoma, on May 17, 1908. Surviving are two nieces, Gertrude K. Alioth and Louvenia K. Phillips, both of Kansas City, Missouri; three caregivers - Henry and Martha and Nero of Fort Worth; great-nieces, great-nephews, a special great-nephew, Derek Phillips of Minnesota, and a host of cousins and friends.
