Woodrow William Kelley Jr. Woodrow William Kelley Jr., 41, passed away as a result of a traffic accident Thursday, Oct. 4, 2001 that also took the lives of his wife and stepdaughter. Services will be held at 1 p.m. today at First Baptist Church in Wortham with the Rev. Louie Jones and the Rev. Glenn McCollum officiating. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Kirvin. Mr. Kelley was born Aug. 22, 1960 in Houston, and had lived in Kirvin most of his life. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and was an equipment operator at KDT Construction. He had been a Freestone County reserve deputy since December 1996 and a member of Kirvin Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Kirvin. Mr. Kelley is survived by his stepdaughters, Jennifer McCoslin of Streetman and Ashley McDaniel of Kirvin; stepsons, Johnny Jackson of Streetman, and Byron McDaniel and Joe McDaniel, both of Kirvin; step grandchildren, Ethan and Erika McCoslin of Streetman; mother, Mary Harper Kelley of Kirvin; father, Woodrow William Kelley Sr. of Kirvin; sisters, Cheryl Clark and husband Robert of Streetman and Sharon Kelley of Kirvin; five nephews and two nieces.
