Floy Alma (Christian) Kelly


Floy Christian Kelly, 89, of Amarillo, died Saturday, May 6, 2000.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Antioch Missionary Baptist Church 
with Pastor Eddie Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park 
Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.

Mrs. Kelly was born in Fairfield and moved to Amarillo in 1948. She was 
a homemaker and a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.

She married Jimmy Clifton Christian in 1931 at Freestone County. He 
died in 1944. She married Clinton Kelly in 1960 in New Mexico. He died in 
1983. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Lula Bell Christian, 
in 1942, and Helen Stephens, in 1989.

Survivors include three daughters, Alma Gollihugh and Joyce Merritt, 
both of Amarillo, and Jimmie Nell Lue of Saudi Arabia; a stepson, Richard Kelly 
of California; a sister, Exa Day of Amarillo; a brother, N.L. Richardson 
Jr., of Arlington; 23 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and seven 
great-great-grandchildren.
