Carro (Daviss) Kelton 

Carro Daviss Kelton, 97, of Dallas passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2002 in Dallas.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery with Dr.
Jimmy Finley officiating.

Mrs. Kelton was born Aug. 9, 1904 in Fairfield. She lived 80 years in Corsicana
and the last 12 in Dallas. Her husband of 40 years was Dr. Leslie Kelton, a
physician in Corsicana for more than 50 years. Mrs. Kelton attended and
graduated from Corsicana High School and Ward-Belmont College and attended
Southern Methodist University.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Leslie Kelton Jr.; and seven
brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her daughters, Carrolyn Kelton Rice and Elizabeth Kelton
Stafford, both of Dallas; and Claire Coble and husband Neely of Nashville,
Tenn.; son, Leslie E. Kelton III and wife Cynthia of Dallas; 11 grandchildren
and 21 great-grandchildren.
