"David Allen Kennard - 4/11/06
David Allen Kennard was born Jan. 9, 1987, in Lancaster and died April 9, 2006,
at Children’s Medical Center in Dallas.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Lucille Ezell Kennard.

He is survived by his mother, Sarah Laverne Kennard; uncle and aunt, Charles
and Susan Kennard; cousins, Melody Pine, Jennifer Knecht, Karen Kennard and
John Kennard.

He will be missed by his family and friends. David was baptized into the Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Jan. 20, 2001, in the Corsicana branch.
In the last five years, David bravely struggled with leukemia. Many friends,
hospital staff and church members endured and struggled with him. He was shown
great kindness and love during that time.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at West/Hurtt Funeral
Home in DeSoto.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints in Duncanville. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery in
Luna.
