Bro. Steve Cowart officiated. Mrs. Kennedy passed away on Friday, February 22, 2008 in Tyler. She was a dedicated homemaker and a faithful member of Eighth Avenue Baptist Church in Teague for thirty-five years. Mrs. Kennedy is survived by one son, Jack Kennedy of Gun Barrel City; one daughter-in-law, Jeanette of Duncanville; one grandson, Greg Hartley Kennedy & wife Angela of Groesbeck; two granddaughters, Kim McManus of Midlothian and Amy Bender of Duncanville; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. She was preceded in death by one son, Dr. Billy Charles Kennedy; her parents, W.H. & Gillie Osteen Griffin; four brothers, Rufus Griffin, J.B.
