Sharion Loue Kennedy

Graveside services for Sharion Loue Kennedy, age 67, of Buffalo, Texas were held 
at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, November 13, 2014 at the Buffalo City Cemetery in Buffalo. 
Bro. Phil Smith officiated the service.

Serving as pallbearers were Jeffrey Lee Ansley, Jonathan Kurt Ansley, Jacob 
Tanner Ansley, Bradley Scott Kelly, Mathew Kennedy, Charles Kennedy and Shanky 
Dalal.

Sharion Loue Kennedy was born on November 7, 1947 in Houston, Texas to Ray Clinton 
& Lucille (Sanders) Kennedy.

She earned her associates degree as an LVN and worked at the Centerville Healthcare 
Center for a number of years. She very much enjoyed her job as an LVN and all of 
the people that she had the opportunity to help. Ms. Sharion had lived in the 
Leon County area since 1979, coming from Houston. She attended the Faith Baptist 
Church. Ms. Sharion deeply loved her family and all of her grandchildren and 
great grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, playing bingo, crocheting and cross-
stitching, painting and playing on the computer. She was also an excellent story 
teller. Ms. Sharion passed away suddenly on November 10, 2014 in Fairfield. She 
was preceded in death by both of her parents and eight siblings.

Surviving family members include daughter, Sharra Grissett & husband, James, of 
Buffalo; brothers, Donnie Kennedy & wife, Ruth, of Houston, Gerald Kennedy & wife, 
Laverne, of Mexia, Kenny Kennedy

& wife, Vickie, of Liberty and Gary Kennedy of Liberty; grandchildren, Jeffrey 
Lee Ansley & wife, Jamie, Jonathan Kurt Ansley & wife, Mandie, Robin Elizabeth 
Dalal & husband, Shanky, Jacob Tanner Ansley & wife, Hali and Bradley Scott Kelly 
and great grandchildren, Ely & Brook-lyn Ansley, Landon & Landrie Noey & Hunter 
Ansley and Kilynn & Wyatt Ansley. Ms. Sharion is also survived by numerous nieces 
and nephews.

Walters’ Buffalo Funeral Home in Buffalo, Texas was in charge of all arrangements.
