Mrs. Evelyn Ruth (Blissett) Kiefert

Mrs. Evelyn Ruth Kiefert, age 96, passed away on April 30, 2014 Burleson, Texas. 
She was born on September 14, 1917 in Streetman, Texas to Alberta Frazier and 
Nick Blissett.

Evelyn married Maurice Otto Kiefert on March 24, 1952 in the First Christian 
Church of Amarillo, Texas. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 2012, 
before Maurice's passing on July 18, 2012. Evelyn and Maurice were entrepreneurs. 
Together they built and sold many businesses. Evelyn's home was in Burleson, 
Texas, though she recently resided at The Gardens at Chisholm Trail in Keene, 
Texas. Evelyn had many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings: Annie Mae, 
Edgar, Dwain, John Henry, and Florence Sidel.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Cade 
Cemetery in Streetman, Texas, with Mr. Gary Brownlow officiating.
