Abiliene Reporter News March 26, 2006 A.E. "Buddy" Killion, Sr. HAMLIN- A.E. "Buddy" Killion, Sr., 87, died Friday, March 24, 2006, at his residence. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 27, 2006, at Adams Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be 10:00 Tuesday, March 28, 2006, at Guiceland Cemetery, south of Palestine, directed by Adams Funeral Home. Born December 15, 1918, in Slocum, Buddy was the son of the late William Andrew and Laura Ethel (Davis) Killion. He graduated from Elkhart High School in 1936 and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII. Buddy married Ruby Rogers October 22, 1939, in Fairfield. She preceded him in death June 28, 2003. Buddy owned and operated A.E. Killion Tank Trucking for many years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Central Baptist Church. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, A.E. "Buddy" and Judy Killion, Jr. of Hamlin; two daughters and son-in-laws, Peggy and Thomas Welch, and Delores and Jimmy Beasley, all of Hamlin; one sister, Anita Rodensey of Houston; six grandchildren, Valayne Welch, James Beasley, Rechel Ferguson, Patricia Jackson, Cortney Killion, and Kevin Killion; and five great-grandchildren.
