Donald Duane King

Memorial services were held Thursday, December 28 in Fairfield for Donald 
Duane King, 70, of Burleson Lake who died Sunday, December 24.

Mr. King was born November 27, 1936 in Montana.

Services were conducted at Emmanuel Baptist Church, with Rev. Don Suits II 
officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Gerri King; two grandchildren, Linda Gayle Elliott
of Hammond, Okla. and Patty Walker of Canadian; nine grandchildren and one
great-grandchild; His mother, Neona Adair of Shelton, Washington; three 
brothers, Jim King of Whitfish, Mont., Ronald "Bob" King of California, and 
Austin Miller of Holme, Washington; a sister, Joyce Rogers of Whitefish, Mont.;
Step-children Koleta Hooper of Palestine, Yulenda Starr of Palestine, Andy 
Baker of Post Falls, Idaho; and Mark Baker of Hobert, Okla.

He was preceded in death by his father, Percy King; a son, Douglass King; a 
grandson, Alvin Carney; and granddaughter Cheyenne Walker.

Arrangements were made by Capps Memorial Chapel in Fairfield.
