Mary Katherine Kitchens
FEBRUARY 1, 1937 - JUNE 23, 2014

Mary Katherine Kitchens, 77, formerly of Fairfield, passed away Monday, June 23, 
2014 in Jacksonville. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 
29, 2014 at Capps Memorial Chapel with Pastor Michael Bedevian officiating. 
Interment will follow at Fairfield Cemetery. Pallbearers are Bud Kitchens, Matt 
Mooneyham, Nick Mooneyham, Michael Mooneyham, F.L. Schick, Bryan Hollingsworth. 

Miss Kitchens, a retired elementary school teacher was born February 1, 1937 in 
Corsicana to parents Ralph and Mary Eubank Kitchens. She was a graduate of 
Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches. She was a resident of Fairfield 
from 1984 until 2009 where she was a member of First United Methodist Church and 
active in the Freestone County Republican Party. 

Left to cherish her memory is three nieces, Samantha Parrott of Jacksonville; 
Kim Mooneyham of Fairfield; Nikki Hollingsworth of Baytown; one nephew, Bud 
Kitchens of Mt. Pleasant.
