Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Bowers Funeral Home website: Kimble Webb Knight (January 6, 1916 - July 25, 2007) Kimble Webb Knight Funeral services for Mr. Kimble Knight were held on Saturday, July 28, 2007 at 10:30a.m. at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. Bro. Kenneth Henbest officiated. Interment followed the services at Antioch Cemetery. Mr. Knight passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at his residence in Teague. Mr. Knight was born and raised in the Luna Community near Teague and resided there almost all of his life. He was employed by the Soil Conservation Service for many years. After retiring he enjoyed life on the family farm near his birthplace. His grandchildren were the light of his life and of “Miss Robbie’s”. And he very much adored his pets, Puppo the dog and two calico cats. Mr. Knight was a member of the Freestone Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife of over sixty-nine years, Robbie Knight of Teague; son, Tommy Elwood Knight & wife Sandy of Houston; daughter, Lynda Knight Benton of Teague; two granddaughters, Terri Collins & husband David of Teague and Carey Golden & husband Rick of Pearland; one grandson, Clint Knight & wife Lara of Houston; One granddaughter-in-law, Jennifer Fulton of Whitehouse; eleven great-grandchildren, Tyler Brown, Andrew Collins, Caitlyn Collins, Shane Fulton, Brooke Fulton, Joey Fulton, Katy Fiorello, Ashley Fiorello, Emily Kimble Knight, Megan Golden, and Brooke Golden; numerous other relatives and friends.
