Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Ethan Shawn Knight March 30, 1999 - June 28, 2021 Funeral services for Ethan Knight were held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. Bro. Ed Ridge officiated. Ethan Shawn Knight passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021, in an accident while at work in Collin County, Texas. He was born March 30, 1999, in Fairfield, Texas to Tammy Wettermark of Teague. Ethan attended Teague and Dew schools before becoming homeschooled to travel Texas with his mom and dad, Clay Boehler. He graduated homeschooling and went to work in the oil field. Ethan‘s love for cars started at a very early age collecting every hot wheel car he thought looked cool. He grew up loving motorcycles and cars, and anything he could get up and go on. He was beginning to find his way in life and build the car of his dreams; he got initiated into Team Boxer Squad, Texas Chapter car club. Ethan was always so energetic and happy and always tried to make everyone smile. Ethan’s motto was “Follow Your Dreams.” Ethan is survived by his mother & dad, Tammy & Clay Boehler and younger brother Nathan; his Grananny, June Alexander; his Nana, Carla Wettermark; aunt, Jonnie Brown; uncle, Walter Wettermark; aunt and uncle, Crystal & Kalop Allen; grandpa, Robert Boehler; uncle and aunt, Ross & Eryn Boehler; uncle and aunt, Guy & Jen Boehler; uncle, Scott Boehler; uncle and aunt, Rafe & Tracy Shrode; and "extra" brother and sister, Callan and Kaily; all of his Boxer Squad brothers and sisters. His Grammy Linda & Papa Dale Jonassen; uncle, David Knight; half-brother, Christian; half-sisters, Braelynn, Zoe and Jessi; step-sister & step-brother, Elizabeth and Jason. Many cousins and other family members, and all of his numerous wonderful “friends- turned family”. Ethan was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Lucille Pirtle; his grandma, LaNell Boehler; cousin, Leah Sartor; great-grandaddy, Carl Alexander; and many others he held dearly.
