Freestone County, Texas Obituaries [Doyle Dosson Kuehl, Sr. (Died January 9, 2008) ] Teague Chronicle January 17, 2008 edition DOYLE DOSSON KUEHL, SR. A service of remembrance was held on Friday, January 11, 2008, for Mr. Doyle Kuehl at the family’s home in Teague. Mr. Kuehl was born in Gonzales and raised in Huntington. He served in the United States Army and was stationed in Seattle, Washington and Whittier, Alaska. He resided in Lomax for forty-five years where he served as Lomax City Councilman for eight years. Mr. Kuehl was employed by Charter Oil & Gas Company for thirty-two years before retiring. He is survived by his wife Barbara Lemon Kuehl of Teague; his daughters Paula White and husband Doug of Katy, Teri Ogrodowicz and husband Ed of Teague and Molly Kuehl of Decatur; his sons Doyle Kuehl, Jr. and wife Deborah of Lometa and Steven Kuehl of Anahuac; ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; his brothers Earl Kuehl and wife Carolyn of Houston, Don Kuehl and wife Hazel of Lufkin and Joe Kuehl and wife Bonnie of Lufkin. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to Providence Hospice, 107 E. Commerce, Mexia, Texas 76667. Bowers Funeral Home of Teague was in charge of the arrangements.
