Freestone County, Texas Obituaries The Denison Press newspaper Thursday, December 2, 1937 RETIRED FARMER DIES AT LOCAL HOSPITAL Oran P. Lagino, 67, a retired farmer and resident of Denison the past two years died Wednesday at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock at Short-Murray chapel with Rev. Basil Shillings officiating. Interment will be held at Oakwood cemetery with Short-Murray directing. Lagino was born in Louisana, the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Lagino, but received his education in Freestone County, Texas, later moving to Huntsville, Texas. He had been residing with his nephew, John Ford, 116 West Day street, and is a member of the Church of Christ. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. J. Y. Owens of Waxahachie and four sisters, Mrs. J. T. Ford, Cleburne; Mrs. Lon Allen, Huntsville; Mrs. Fannie Luster, Franklin, Tenn. and Mrs. Zonie Ferguson, Houston.
