Lamb, 68, who died Tuesday shortly before noon after a lingering illness. A pioneer grocer of Coolidge, Mr. Lamb was well known in this community. After the funeral service, the body was to be taken to Cotton Gin cemetery of [for] burial. Mr. Lamb was born September 7, 1862 at Nacogdoches. He married Miss George Ann Roberts there and then moved to Coolidge in 1880. He is survived by his widow and the following sons and daughters: Frank E. Lamb, Coolidge; J. W. Lamb, Dallas; Mrs. H. A. Caruth, Freeport; Jessie R. Lamb, Dallas; Harvey Lamb, Coolidge; Mrs. T. J. Johnson, Coolidge."
