LAURA SNEED LANCASTER was born Jan. 3, 1914 in Wortham, TX to Ida Gilbraith 
and John Milton Boatman. She passed away Aug. 15, 2004 at the age of 90. She 
was raised Teague, TX and moved to Houston in 1935 with her husband Carl and
baby son, Bobby Carlton. She was one of the first members of Faith Memorial 
Baptist Church in Denver Harbor, where she remained active until moving to 
Spring Branch in 1958 and joining First Baptist Church of Spring Branch, where
she was a member for the remainder of her days. 

Preceding her in death were her husband of 56 years, Carl Jones and her son, 
Bobby Carlton. She is survived by one son, Michael Lancaster and his wife
Charlotte; grandsons, James Carlton and Gregg and his wife Eva. 

A celebration of her life will be Wed. Aug. 18th at 12:30PM at Forest Park 
Lawndale's Chapel of Angels. Burial will follow in Forest Park Lawndale 
Cemetery. A visitation will be Tues. from 4-8PM at the funeral home.
