Freestone County, Texas Obituaries The Fairfield Recorder - April 14, 2011 edition RUBY GRACE TISDALE OLIVER LANCASTER Funeral services were held last Thursday in the chapel of Cook- Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park of Austin for Ruby Grace Tisdale Oliver Lancaster, 90, formerly of Freestone county who died Monday, April 4. Mrs. Lancaster was born December 28, 1920 in Fairfield to Andrew and Ester Draper Tisdale, the ninth of ten children and was raised on a farm outside of Streetman. On March 24, 1938, she married Coy Oliver and together they had two children. As a military wife, she lived in Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Nebraska, Kansas and Germany before settling in Austin in 1969. Oliver died in November of 1988. On August 16, 1990, Mrs. Lancaster married Louis Lancaster of Austin. Together they traveled and were active in the Bannockburn Baptist Church of Austin. Lancaster died in 2007. Mrs. Lancaster was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, and two husbands. She is survived by children Joanne Oliver Anania and Riley Oliver; grandchildren Donna Beaver, Dianna Salazar, Nanette Oliver, Francesca Hallin and Johnathan Oliver; and great-grandchildren Anthony Anania, Andrew Anania and Makenzie Hallin. Officiating services was pastor Ryan Rush of Bannockburn Baptist Church and Dr. Ken Baldwin of Kinney Avenue Christian Fellowship, both of Austin. Making arrangements was Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park of Austin.
