Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Fairfield Recorder newspaper - Feb 16, 2006 edition Kenneth Eugene Lansford Kenneth Eugene Lansford died at the age of 83 on February 9 in Fairfield, his place of residence. Funeral services were held Sunday at Calvary Baptist Church, Rev. Terry Skinner officiating. Shelby Race gave a musical performance of "Heaven Came Down" and "Supper Time". Services were followed by burial at Lake Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Lansford was born April 18, 1922 in Ladonia. He was married 59 years to Johnnie Ruth Ammons Lansford, was a member of the Masonic Lodge, a World War II veteran and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Johnnie Ruth Ammons Lansford "Momma"; daughters Linda Jean Mooney "Pee Wee" of Oakwood, Peggy McGraw "Pegleg Pete" of Fairfield and Leslie Donette Bonner "Cricket" and husband Bobby Jim of Fairfield and grandchildren Deana "Stinky" Hart and husband Leslie, Brian "Booger Boy" McGraw, Corey "Tooter" McGraw, Melissa "Sugar Plum" McGraw, Krista "Peaches" Sanders and husband Jeremy, Jenny "Peanut" Bonner and Sarah "Dumplin'" Bonner. Mr. Lansford is also survived by his great grandchildren Hunter McGraw, Erica "Pebbles" McGraw and Haley "Bubbles" Simmons; brothers Douglass Lansford and wife Jean of Bells and Vernon Lansford and wife Doris of Bells; sister-in-law Mae Lansford of McKinney and close family friend Barbara Brewer. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Wesley Lansford and Anne Bell Terry Lansford; one sister, two brothers and one sister-in-law. Arrangements were by Capps Memorial Chapel in Fairfield.
