He began a career with Brookshire’s Food Stores in 1983 and was currently working as Market Manager in their Groesbeck store. A caring and compassionate husband, Hank’s love for Karen was apparent to everyone. They shared a love that every couple wishes to have. From the time they first met, they knew they would always be together and Hank spent his almost 30 years with Karen loving her above all else and devoting himself to her and their two boys. Hank’s greatest joy was time with his sons spent hunting, fishing, roping with Casey and going to livestock shows with Cade. There was nothing he enjoyed more than sitting and watching his boys rope. Or for that matter, watching them do anything. He loved having the family together, especially spending time with his three-month-old granddaughter Haisley. He was so proud to be Pop. An impressive story teller, Hank never met a stranger. He genuinely cared about people and could put a smile on anyone’s face. If Hank was in your presence, you would be sure to be entertained and sure to feel loved. He made everyone feel like family, and to him, you were. He was close with his co-workers and considered them his extended family. Hank was a great friend, father, husband and mentor and will be greatly missed by all who met him.
