"Lorayne Brewer
                                      
HOUSTON; Lorayne Brewer, 92, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000, at Parks Methodist Retirement Village.
                                      
Graveside services were held Feb. 28, 2000, at Forest Park Lawndale.
                                      
Lorayne was born Feb. 2, 1908, in Fairfield. She married Orien Chauncey Brewer in Houston in 1939. They had one daughter, Mary Lou.  Lorayne was preceded in death by her husband Feb. 25, 1947.
                                      
After her retirement from Entex in Houston, she moved to Kingsland. For the last seven years she was a resident of Parks Methodist Retirement Village.
                                      
Lorayne was a 49-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Her favorite pastime was playing the piano for her friends at Sherwood Place and Parks Methodist Retirement Village.
                                      
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Lou Holcombe and husband, John, of Odessa; granddaughter, Susan Jones and husband, Mark, of Fort Worth; sister, Dorothy Rader of Houston; and nieces, Judy Wiggins and Frances McCarthy, both of Houston."
