Joe Albert Lee 

Joe A. Lee, 92, of Canton, Texas, died Jan. 25, 1996, in Canton. 

Services are 1 p.m. Saturday at Capps Memorial Chapel, with Bro. Dean
Easterling officiating. Burial will follow at Lake Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Bryan Lee, Lloyd Green, Buck Bonner, David McAdams, Billy
Chappell and Ricky Lee. Honorary pallbearers are Art Pool, Andy Pool, David
Robertson, Terry Black, Earnest Black and Darrell Black.

Mr. Lee was born Aug. 14, 1903 in Freestone County. He was retired from the
Texas Highway Department and was a member of the Ward Prairie Baptist Church in
Fairfield.

Mr. Lee is survived by wife, Maurine Lee of Canton; stepdaughters Billie
Robertson and husband Otis of Huntsville; Mary Pool and husband Arthur of
Canton and Glenda Black and husband Pete of Houston; sons, Joe Wallace Lee of
Waterloo, Ala., Bobby Lee and wife Patsy of Groesbeck; and John David Lee and
wife Glenda of Wills Point; sister, Lena Manahan of Fairfield; 18 grandchildren
and 18 great grandchildren.
