Karen Lea (Harte) Leski
July 22, 1941 - October 7, 2015

Karen Lea Leski, 74, of Fairfield, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2015 in 
Houston. Mrs. Leski was born July 22, 1941 in Pittsburgh, PA to parents John and 
Josephine Cavano Harte. She had been a resident of Freestone County for twenty 
years moving from Galveston. She received her BS degree from the University of 
Houston and worked as a substance abuse counselor.

Left to cherish her memory is her children, Peggy Rains and husband Luther of 
Huntington, TX; Robert Leski, Jr. and wife Sue of Dickinson, TX; a sister, 
Marilyn Gould and husband Jerry Dominic of Livonia, MI; grandchildren, Ashley 
Rains of Galveston; Ericia Stevens and husband Tyler of Newton, KS; Christian 
Rains of Huntington, TX; Heather O’Brien of Santa Fe, TX; great-grandchildren, 
Landon Rains, Jaxon Moreno, Oliver Stevens, Abigail O’Brien and Maci O’Brien.
