ZENOBIA LEWIS 

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Sept. 8, for Zenobia Lewis, 79, of 
Fairfield, who died Sept. 3 at Fairfield Nursing and Rehab Center. 

Services were held at Jones Chapel United Methodist Church in Fairfield 
with pastor, Rev. Elnora Nunnally, officiating. Interment was at Hopewell 
Cemetery in Fairfield. 

Mrs. Lewis was born Sept. 9, 1929. She was a member of Jones Chapel United 
Methodist Church, and retired from Mexia State School food service department. 
She is survived by her son Lozell Lewis, Fairfield, daughters Bobbie Willis 
and husband, Willie, Fairfield, Brenda Taylor and husband, Wilmer, Fairfield, 
and Janice Rischer, Ft. Worth; Brother Charles Lampkin, Ft. Worth, sisters 
Opal McIntosh and husband, Dewitt and Elizabeth Palmer, all of Ft. Worth, 
grandchildren Chris, Denise, Willie, Jr., Byron, Kizzie, Vickie, Valerie, 
Detra, Chasity and Drelon; 19 great-grandchildren, and other relatives and 
friends.
