Miller wife of Tom Lindley] Page 1 Final Rites Will Be Held Today For Mrs. Tom Lindley Funeral Services will he held from the Presbyterian Church at 4 P. M. Thursday, Aug. 2, for: Mrs. Eloise Miller Lindley, wife of Postmaster Tom Lindley, who died at her home early Wednesday morning. The Rev. W. R. Hall, Jr., of Belton; the Rev. W. L. Loessin. pastor; the Rev. Harold Spann, pastor of the Methodist Church; and the Rev. John V. Terry, pastor of the Baptist Church, will officiate. Internment will follow at the Fairfield cemetery. Pallbearers will be H. H. Burleson, F. B. Peyton, Ben Bonner, J. E. Lott, H. B. Steward, and Roger Steward. (See LINDLEY, Page 8) Mrs. Lindley was born in Fairfield Nov. 6, 1890, the daughter of the late Will H. and Mary Sandifer Miller. She taught muisic in Fairfield for many years until about six years ago when she retired because of failing health. She had been ill for several years and her condition grew steadily worse since Sunday until death came at 12:15 A. M. Wednesday. She studied piano under Dr. Lillie Bridges of Dallas and voice under Madame Arnt, of Dallas. and started teaching in Fairfield at the age of 18. She was married to Mr. Lindley in 1918. She is survived by her husband of Fairfield; her mother, Mrs. Mary Miller, of Fairfield, and other relatives including Mrs. Morris Sneed, W, H. Huckaby and Mrs. J. A. McDonald, of Fairfield; Lucian Gordon, of Teague; Mrs. Norman Brown and Mrs. Clyde Lucas, of Dallas; Miss Lela Campbell, of Gladewater, Mrs. Art Kroll, of Houston; and a host of friends.
