Margaret Fulton Lindsey
March 9, 1942 - July 27, 2021

Funeral services for Margaret Fulton Lindsey were held on Thursday, July 29, 
2021, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Teague. Bro. Scott Matthews 
officiated. Interment followed the services at Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Lindsey passed away on Tuesday, July 27, at her residence in Teague.

She was born in Teague on March 9, 1942, and graduated from Teague High School 
with the class of 1960. Mrs. Lindsey was a familiar face in numerous Teague 
businesses for many years. She worked for Dr. Dobbs, ran her own business with 
her husband, Bendy’s, worked for the Hilltop gift shop, and worked for Sissy’s 
Dress Shop. She enjoyed working in her yard, growing flowers, and was an avid 
reader. Mrs. Lindsey was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Teague.

She is survived by her husband, W. L. “Dub” Lindsey of Teague; two sons, Tim 
Hedrick & wife Lea and Warren Hedrick & wife April; one daughter, Libby Goolsby 
& husband Jamie; one step-son, Wally Lindsey & wife Angela; two step-daughters, 
Bennie Miller and Ruth Allison; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-
grandchildren; one sister, Beth Cooper; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives 
and friends.

Mrs. Lindsey was preceded in death by her parents, Omer Paul & Margaret Oretha 
Ivy Fulton; and one sister, Paula Fulton.
