TX - obits - The Fairfield Recorder newspaper - Thursday, January 26, 2006 Lloyd Jim Mullins A resident of Fairfield, Lloyd Jim Mullins died on Sunday at the age of 59 after a long battle with cancer. Services were held Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church in Fairfield with Terry Skinner officiating. Interment was at Fairfield Cemetery. Mr. Mullins was born June 26, 1946 to Earnest Jim and Ruby Layfield Mullins in Camp Leujune, North Carolina. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Fairfield, was in the U. S. Coast Guard for four years and was a deputy sheriff reserve in Harris county. Mr. Mullins loved gardening, church fellowship and his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving Mr. Mullins are his children, Bryan Mullins of Waco, Heather Mullins of Fairfield and Angela Nowakowski of Fairfield; grandchildren David and Renee Mullins, Richard Mullins and Keaton Nowakowski and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his sister Ernestine Heintschel of Baytown; brother Billy Roland Mullins of Santa Fe, TX and his half-brother John Robert Perry. He is preceded in death by his parents. Pallbearers were Bryan Mullins, Bobby Ransom, Mike Coleman, Scott Mullins, Bill Mullins and Jimmy Mullins. Arrangements were by Calvary Funeral Home.
