Bertrane Lockhart

Mr. Bertrane Van Lockhart, 51, of Mexia was born on January 21, 1955, in 
Hollywood, California to Artis and Beulah Lockhart. He passed away on Saturday,
June 17, 2006 in the Parkland Medical Center of Dallas. His body was cremated,
and there will be a Memorial Service held on Friday, June 23, 2006 at 11 a.m.
in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1005 N. Red River, Mexia, Texas.

He received his education in the Los Angeles, California Public School District
, and began his career as a well-known truck driver. He was one of Jehovah’s 
Witnesses and attended the Mexia Congregation.

Bertrane married Pamela Reed on March 7, 1986. His survivors include his wife: 
Pamela Lockhart, Wortham, TX; Daughters: Velvet Lock Tufele’ and husband, 
Jonathan, Riverside, CA; Artesia Porche and Skie Lockhart, Wortham, TX; Mother:
Beulah Lockhart, Harbor City, CA; Sisters: Dyrolyn Faith, Neva and Kathie 
Lockhart, Harbor City, CA; Grandsons: Edward, Shane, Ashton, and Noah, 
Riverside, CA; Aunts: Gracie Mae Brooks, Wortham, TX; and Eddie Lee Lockhart,
Mexia, TX; Nieces: Psykhe and Donoca Brown, Harbor City, CA; Great-Nephew: 
Kyeil, Harbor City, CA; Uncle: R. D. Lockhart, Mexia; and many other family 
members and friends.

Moore’s Angelic Funeral Home, 406 Monroe Street, Teague, Texas, is in charge 
of arrangements.
